REGISTRY

The Registry’s primary goal is to assist IHSS Consumer to hire Individual Providers (IPs) in a timely manner.  The Registry is a customized database that matches the needs of the IHSS Consumer with Registry Providers.  The registry staff will determine if a “match” was made or if the Consumer requires further assistance with hiring a Provider. The Imperial County Public Authority Registry allows us to refer pre-screened providers that match the needs of IHSS clients looking to hire.  The Registry does not directly hire or guarantee hire. Participation in the Imperial County IHSS Public Authority Registry is voluntary and is not a requirement to receive In-Home Supportive Services benefits.  The Registry is a no-cost referral service limited to IHSS clients.  You may reach us at (760)482-2969 or (760)482-2979.

  2. Must have at least one (1) year experience as a caregiver and or a degree/certification in a health related field. If applies, submit copy of degree or certificate with your application.

  3. Must submit four (4) references and pass reference check with good status. References include two (2) nonrelatives personal references and two (2) from previous employers.

  4. Must submit a valid driver’s license or other US government-issued photo identification with your application.
