Ombudsperson Program
An Ombudsperson is available in
every county to assist parent, employers, and the community and
will provide information about the child support program,
resolve issues, and answer questions.
The Ombudsperson Program also helps
parties through the Complaint Resolution process and State
Hearing, and helps to arrange for special accommodations and
interpreters needed at Stated Hearings. The Ombudsperson Program
also evaluates customer satisfaction and suggests ways to
resolve concerns and improve customer services.
What are the Ombudsperson's Responsibilities?
- To help you with child Support issues.
- To assist you in understanding the complaint process
before, during, and after the complaint is files
- To assist you in preparing for a State Hearing
