On behalf of all the

information on specific properties.
ASSESSOR Jose M. Rodriguez, Jr.
Jose M. Rodriguez,

The focus of Mr.
Rodriguez's administration has been to combine the technology, including
the extensive use of the Geographic Information System (GIS), Computer
Assisted Mass Appraisal program, and the use of the Internet
website to better serve the community of Imperial County, with emphasis
on traditional public service.
The Assessor’s career
spans 40 years, beginning in the Mapping Department as a Map Draftsman

the use of these funds, the office is in the process in becoming a
paperless office by implementing an Imaging and Record Management System
and is in the planning stages with the Treasurer/Tax Collector and
Auditor Controller Office in acquiring an up-to-date Property Tax
Management System.
In July of 2000, the
County Executive Officer requested Mr. Rodriguez to coordinate the
County’s second attempt in the development of the Imperial County

cost to the General Fund.
